Information About the Event BioOst
BioOst is a regional trade fair for the organic food retail trade and was established nationwide along with its sister fairs BioNord, BioSüd and BioWest as a forum and meeting place for the health food industry. This goes back to the 10th anniversary of the new wholesaler Naturkost Nord, which opened the BioNord fair not only as a gateway for its customers and suppliers, but also for all industry players. The response was so enormous that the organizer developed a separate unique concept for the exhibition. At the insistence of exhibitors and visitors, the regional trade fair was held in the south in 2009 and was expanded in 2013 to the east and west due to its huge success. Like BioOst, the fair is held once a year and will be open to visitors only. The fair offers quality-oriented trade in organic products as an independent platform and has been extended to health food stores and organic kitchens. In addition, associations, journalists and politicians will find a forum to exchange ideas and information and actively shape the future of the organic sector.
