The international exhibition LATVIAN WINNER will feature the most beautiful and noble dogs and cats of all types from Latvia and abroad, exciting dog obedience demonstrations and cat shows, consultation with a specialist on dog and cat breeds and their care, an extensive exhibition of pet industry products and services.
“Latvian Winner” invites animal lovers to Kipsala, where dogs and cats of a wide variety of breeds will come from 15 countries to take part in beauty contests, exciting demonstrations and shows!
President of the Latvian Cynological Federation and the Latvian Feline Association “Felimurs” Vija Klučniece notes: “Each exhibition offers something special. This year, visitors will have a fantastic opportunity to see cat breeds not registered in Latvia, as well as watch amazing tricks and spectacular demonstrations.”
“Golden cats” from 15 countries! This year a special event awaits cat lovers, as Latvia, after a long break, will once again host the World Cat Show and the final of the prestigious international competition “Golden Cat of the World 2018” with the participation of the best and most beautiful representatives of various breeds from 15 (!) countries, including from distant Thailand and China.
Visitors will enjoy exciting competitions in the rings of kittens, juniors, adult cats, castrati “Master”, “Double Master” and “Triple Master”, as well as specialized shows of British, Scottish fold cats, Maine Coons, Kurilian Bobtails and Sphynxes. But that’s not all! There will also be a show of the most beautiful kittens, “Macho” cats, white, forest, rare breeds and champions.
Popular and rare dog breeds For two days, 1,700 long-haired and short-haired, curly and smooth, miniature and large, hunting, service and decorative dogs from Latvia and other countries will compete for the title “Latvian Winner 2019” in Kipsala. Along with Labradors, Chihuahuas, French bulldogs and other popular breeds, real rarities will be presented at Kipsala – Irish and American water spaniels, black and tan raccoon hound, Dutch Tulphond, or Marquisier. The latter breed, very popular in the Netherlands but not yet widespread in the world, is currently awaiting recognition by the FCI (Federation Cynologique Internationale).
Along with judging dogs in the rings, visitors will see fascinating displays of the training and intelligence of their four-legged friends, as well as demonstrations of individual breeds.

However, during busy exhibition seasons, this may be problematic, as installation teams may not be able to respond to requests promptly.
