Information About the Event InnoTrans
InnoTrans is an international trade fair for transport technology in terms of innovative components, vehicles and systems, held every two years in Berlin. Since its founding in 1996, it has been an integral part of the trade fair calendar in Berlin and has operated since 2000 as the industry’s leading event. Berlin is considered the German center of competence for traffic engineering with more than 220 companies and is therefore an ideal location for an exhibition in this format.
A unique feature of InnoTrans is its open and track area, where all large objects, from tanks to high-speed trains, are located on 3,500 meters of road. Since 2016, the exhibition has offered automakers the opportunity to display buses in an outdoor area connected to the exhibition halls. This is a place to experience hands-on technology.

The cost of a stand depends on a number of factors, but the stand’s design plays a decisive role. Depending on the design, costs can range from €200 to €2,000 per square meter of exhibition space rented. In order to calculate the cost of the stand, we require the design. Once you have provided this, we will be able to give you an estimate of the cost of your exhibition stand at InnoTrans.
Once we have finalised the design of your exhibition stand, we will create renderings. These 3D visualisations show the exhibition stand from all angles, giving you the best possible idea of what your stand will look like at the exhibition.
A standard exhibition stand design usually refers to a ‘shell scheme’, the most common and economical layout at exhibitions and trade fairs. Such a stand is typically 3 m x 3 m (9 square metres), though other sizes are also common, such as 6 m x 3 m. The walls consist of two or three white laminated or fabric-covered modular panels. The front panel displays the exhibitor’s name and sometimes the booth number. Basic carpet flooring is often available, but the color range is usually limited.
Technical services at the exhibition venue are provided by the organizer of the exhibition. To order the necessary services, please either email the organizer or place an order through your exhibitor account on their website, provided that you have already booked a place at this exhibition. If you are building an exhibition stand with us, we will manage everything in your exhibitor account and calculate the required number of services.
If you require a two-storey exhibition stand, we would be delighted to build it for you. We can also design such a stand for you. Certain engineering calculations need to be performed for such stands and submitted to the exhibition organiser for approval. Due to the additional time required for the implementation of a two-storey stand project, please contact us for assistance no later than three months before the start of the InnoTrans.
