Information About the Event Intergastra
INTERGASTRA is one of Europe’s most important international trade fairs for the gastronomy and hospitality industry. The event is presented on an area of 115,000 m² in all halls at Messe Stuttgart, and with approximately 1,400 exhibitors, it is the most significant meeting place for industry in Germany. Almost 100,000 trade visitors receive information on the main areas of food/cuisine, equipment/ambiance, beverages, hotels, coffee, and ice cream every two years. Mandatory participation in the hotel sector presents new products, provides many opportunities for exchanging ideas between specialists, and allows everyone present to look beyond the horizon.

A standard exhibition stand design usually refers to a ‘shell scheme’, the most common and economical layout at exhibitions and trade fairs. Such a stand is typically 3 m x 3 m (9 square metres), though other sizes are also common, such as 6 m x 3 m. The walls consist of two or three white laminated or fabric-covered modular panels. The front panel displays the exhibitor’s name and sometimes the booth number. Basic carpet flooring is often available, but the color range is usually limited.
The organisers of event Intergastra determine the conditions and requirements for designing and constructing exhibition stands at their venue. You can request this information via their website or find it in the manual if you have already purchased a place to participate in the exhibition.
Creating a simple stand design usually takes 1–2 days. For more complex stands and 3D renderings, the time required may increase to three days.
If you are not planning to make any significant changes to the stand’s design, we can provide an exhibition stand rental service two weeks before the exhibition. However, during busy exhibition seasons, this may be problematic, as installation teams may not be able to respond to requests promptly. Therefore, if you wish to rent an exhibition stand for the Intergastra, we advise you to contact us at least one month in advance.
If you require a two-storey exhibition stand, we would be delighted to build it for you. We can also design such a stand for you. Certain engineering calculations need to be performed for such stands and submitted to the exhibition organiser for approval.
